  1. At the end of the day it is time for JR to go... and anybody else in his inner circle that wants to as well. Let his son take over, and forge a new path for this team.
  2. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jul 18, 2015 -> 01:39 PM) For the most part I was pleasantly surprised with Antman. Yep, fun, simple film, great visuals, some of the best in a Marvel flick. A few good laughs, Rudd, and Douglas were great, Lily was the major weak link. But that might be on the writers/directing...
  3. And Bear fans will never let go of their one Super Bowl victory... we get it... move along... this topic is so nauseating, nothing anybody else says is going to change any ones opinion...
  4. I guess I'm in the minority, this schedule doesn't frighten me that much. 8-8, 9-7 wouldn't shock me one bit.
  5. 83-79, I like the team, just think we'll get an injury or two, and some drop off from a few spots. Hope I'm wrong though.
  6. I'm thinking (and a few other has as well) Brock loses to heel Reigns, with Heyman. No challenger for heel Brock if he wins. Heel Reigns can have Brock, Cena, Bryan, Ziggler, Ambrose, and Rollins, all have some sort of history with Reigns (except Ziggler).
  7. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Mar 8, 2015 -> 08:39 AM) Huge! Great deal Real smart move by him, probably could have gotten more elsewhere, stayed with a sure thing, very rare these days.
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 04:10 PM) Well, do wolves eat dogs? Coyotes do, we here in Homer Glen have had a few small dogs get eaten by coyotes. Though I blame the stupid owners, small dogs that get to run around loose have stuff happen to them. Though one was on a property but the leash it was on was extremely long and they had no fence, basically went up to an open retention are.
  9. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 2, 2015 -> 08:26 PM) That's what makes me really nervous about getting too excited about young players. Q seems to pick and choose who he wants gone. I've very pleased Saad has survived this long. Yep, I appreciate Q as a coach, but he has had a few head scratchers. And I echo your thought on Saad.
  10. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 2, 2015 -> 05:33 PM) #TuevoTime CAN'T WAIT Until Q figures out a way to get rid of him.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 4, 2014 -> 06:13 PM) Where do they have to be in the draft again? I think 11 for us to get that pick.
  12. Unfortunately I have little faith in the McCaskeys period, and there is no Rocky in sight with this ownership.

    2014 Films Thread

How many horror movies being released in that time, romantic comedies, dramas, we don't complain about all of them.
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 24, 2014 -> 11:52 AM) Nearly every team in baseball would be smart to give him a call, White Sox included. True, but we know every team will not, including ours. The Tigers, and Dodgers should be the first in line. Both teams also have the stones to dump their current managers for someone better, unlike ours. And both of those teams should be able to come up with the right price, unlike most other teams, including ours.
  15. Tigers would be smart to give him a call.
  16. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Oct 14, 2014 -> 01:14 PM) My girlfriend is a Pittsburgh sports fan. I'd like to see the Pirates and Steelers win if the Bears and Sox don't but I'm never affected by losses. As I grow older, and the Sox winning it all helped a lot, I like to see new blood win. I've been around for all our major Championships (while I was around for the Bears SB I didn't pay that much attention to sports as a whole, I was eight). I'd love for either KC/ or Baltimore win the WS. To me it would be boring for either National team to win this year. Same with Seattle last year in the NFL. Don't get me wrong, I want my teams to win (Sox,Bears, Bulls, Hawks), but if they don't seeing a new team win is pretty cool. I'd love for the Pirates to win, them and the Bills would make me happy just because of the history with both teams, them four SB losses, they need a win sometime.
  17. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Oct 14, 2014 -> 09:27 AM) I'll never understand having a 2nd favorite team. Doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I'm just weird. Same, I can see having a team you like/ or a team you follow in the other conference but never in the same. I have a hard enough time emotionally following one team, could never follow another that deeply.

    The Pet Thread

This is Renji, he is a Shiba Inu. He is also a pain in the rear This pic was about four years ago.
  19. Anybody think Ballmer would move them to Seattle. The Seattle Clippers doesn't sound too bad.
  20. QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ May 21, 2014 -> 02:51 PM) They have one of the best SS prospects in baseball that made it to AAA as a 19 year old last season. So they are probably out. It is really tough to find a contending team, other than the Yankees, with a need at SS. The Reds may be done with Cozart but have been said to have financial limitations that would probably get in the way of a deal. Detroit would be the other team, but I don't see how the Sox can make a deal with them. Ah okay, thanks for the info.
  21. What about a team like Oakland for Ramirez, they should be a win now team. I do not have any clue what they have in the minors though, so I have no clue if they have a SS waiting. They have Lowrie and Punto there, both average, though they are pretty RH heavy in the lineup. They also should be able to absorb Ramirez's contract pretty easy, though it is Oakland.
  22. QUOTE (dasox24 @ May 9, 2014 -> 01:39 PM) I still just don't understand why KC would deal him. I feel like if it was a possibility, Emery should have made that deal immediately. Berry, albeit more expensive, would be better than any Safety in this draft. He just turned 25 and is a 3-time Pro Bowler. The only season he didn't make it was when he tore his ACL. I agree on all counts, just speculating. I'd move a 1st next year for Berry.
  23. What if it is for that Eric Berry situation in reality. Grab a high 2nd and still have your 2nd for a DT.
  24. QUOTE (IowaSoxFan @ May 7, 2014 -> 04:42 PM) He's probably not far in line behind Hoffman in line to take his turn at TJ given the way he has been used this season. Yeah, I don't follow college sports that much, only follow this thread cause of the 3rd pick for the Sox. I don't think he has much wiggle room then, really can't ask for stupid money at the 3rd pick. Get what is yours before something happens is how I'd look at it, or roll the dice once again and hope all works out.
