  1. His brother in law can facetime with him whenever he wants. Machado isn't going to start to ignore his facetime requests if he starts to lean toward Philly or SD.
  2. He's face timing his brother in law. No matter the team he signs with, he wouldn't begin to hate his brother in law over it. I wouldn't think who he face times makes any difference.
  3. Pages and pages ago, the same question was asked about LA compared to Chicago. I believe the tax consequences in CA were somewhere between 1.5-2M/season, but I could be wrong. I'm a financial advisor but I'm not licensed in CA so I'm not entirely sure.
  4. RT @ChuckGarfien: Remembering this line from Rick Hahn from last night. I asked Rick Renteria where he'll bat Eloy Jimenez. Hahn interjected with "The offseason isn't over yet. There might be some other names in that lineup."
  5. On Tuesday and Wednesday night, it's going to be anywhere between -40 and -50 wind chill.
  6. When this thread was 198 pages, I asked "what happens first, Machado signs or this gets to 230 pages?" What a stupid question.
  7. But Matthew Aung, who follows 3x the amount of those who follow him & occasionally writes on Cubs blogs, says so! πŸ˜…
  8. Coming from a nobody Cubs fan: RT @MatthewS_Aung: Source: The #WhiteSox and Manny Machado are β€œContinuing to drift apart” in regards to a deal. I know some people have suggested that β€œMachado to the #WhiteSox” might be dead, but to my knowledge there’s still a slim possibility a deal could be reached.
  9. Aaaand no one minded when Jordan was doing it because he played here so it sounds borderline ignorant when people complain about one man's dominance
  10. I enjoy watching greatness, and I'll be able to say I saw the greatest ever. Whatever he does from here on is just gravy and I love it
  11. No but it would fix barely getting the ball over the crossbar no matter the length of the kick. I swear, Parkey had a few that just made it over and they weren't long kicks either. Meanwhile the kicker from the Rams hit the top of the net from 48.
  12. I feel awful because I think the Bears were on par with both of those teams, but then I keep remembering that the Rams won thanks to a 48 and 57 yard FG, something Parkey would have also done had he pumped himself full of HGH.
  13. No, it is not what you said. You said Bush will never be an uber prospect, and now you're saying he could be a T25 guy in the future. What you're implying is that now everytime the Sox trade an off the radar prospect for a veteran, you're going to assume it's going to end up like Tatis?
  14. How can you say trading Bryce Bush is going to end up like Tatis part II and then 4 minutes later say Bush will never be a great prospect and will merely sneak into the top 100 at best? Tatis might be the #2 prospect in baseball. They got a rapidly declining SP for him and paid him a lot of money. You're saying Bush could be the #95-#100 prospect in baseball. They would be getting a productive LH OF in return for him. There is literally no similarity.
  15. Yes, and honestly, I think they sign Harper too
