I never did hear how he answered that question, if anyone out there did, I'd be curious how Getz responded.

To your points: On the rare times he has spoken about it JR has said he has told his family to keep the Bulls and sell the Sox. The Bulls make money he said because of the salary cap. (Personally until he opens his books and lets an independent accountant examine them I don't think for a second he's lost money with the White Sox) JR is the managing partner and is in control of all day to day operations. The minority owners literally have no say in anything including if the team is sold. It's only sold if JR wants it to be sold. As has been written about, because of the capital gains tax hit (approximately 200 million dollars on a two billion dollar sale of the Sox) AND the Illinois state tax hit, JR will never sell the franchise while he is alive, simple as that.

The funny thing is when Getz met the media this afternoon (I watched it on You Tube) he said one of the reasons Shaw was cut was because Anderson was pitching so well in Charlotte and deserved an opportunity. So... 😆

Dan Evans was with the Dodgers after he left the Sox. Going back Roland Hemond took over as GM of the Orioles and won an Executive of the Year Award and of course Dave Dombrowski who Hawk fired because he was Roland's protegee has had great success with numerous organizations.

Half of this pitching staff won't be here next year, and of the eight players you mentioned given the history of this organization at development it would be a major get if two of those guys hit it big in the major leagues. Sorry, there's no way unless the things I mentioned happened, this team will be good in three years time...and you mention the bad division, if the "goal" is to win the crappy A.L.
