or marry JR's daughter.

If Hahn had taken another job or just left in frustration we could have appreciated his time with the organization. But to be fired after his performance does not merit appreciation. Instead, don't let the door hit you on the way heading out.
-
How about if the fans showed up outside the stadium and chant "sell the team". That way the point gets across with out the team making money off ticket sales.
-
I would be concerned that JR will decide that he needs another year because the White Sox don't want to pay 2 managers. There is also the question as to who picked him( assume Hahn but this is the White Sox) and he maybe should also go

Good to beat Cubs in Wrigley with a big crowd. Odd, but a couple of very negative posters did not post on yesterday's game. -

I would think Tennessee would be a prime spot, Maybe some open spot south of Nashville could draw from Memphis as well as some of the larger eastern Tennessee cities as well. -
Dodgers have completely overhauled Lynn pitch mix
SCCWS replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Yeah but Lynn has been throwing left-handed since he came to the Dodgers............................ -
In fairness, some teams do restrict discounts on certain prime opponents. I know for years, Tampa Bay restricted Red Sox, Yankees and Dodger home games. That happened when those teams had a ton more fans than the Ray could draw.

The White Sox have had 5 managers in the last 12 years.
SCCWS replied to joejoesox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
From 2004 , Red Sox also had 6/7 managers with ( one season) due to Cora's suspension. But they won the World Series in 3 of those those years. So changing managers has not been the problem. -
Fegan on Score @1225 pm to discuss Sox remaining moves
SCCWS replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Maybe not. Putting everything aside, the most important factor is JR. Are the White Sox comfortable making income number 1 or spending money and getting a good team number 1. It is not an overreaction if JR is happy the books look great or he is bullshit the team is so bad. The future will tell us what the FO "really" wants to achieve. -
Teams lose and we see all the stories of 25 players, 25 cabs. Teams win and we see all the stories of teamwork. Maybe the White Sox didn't spend time finding players who have a team purpose as well as a player purpose. The Red Sox had the 25 cabs but eventually some key players like Johnny Damon and Mike Lowell were key players that helped turn their fortunes around. But they were not star players but were able to fill a need. Somebody in the White Sox organization needs to find these guys as well as the Cease and Robert to go along with them.
-
Agree. It is set up to have the new guy be the reason the team sucks. To me he does suck but he is 3-4 down the line for where the blame should be

Somebody in the front office must have seen today's game and gone into a rant. Whether it was JR, KW,RH. or PG, one of them must have exploded after this game. Someone should have been traded or DFA. Maybe someone in the front office should have been fired. Maybe someone in the FO should be having a closed door meeting tomorrow including interpreters with the team and screamed at them. This is an embarrassment to the fans of this team who cannot believe what we are seeing. Tomorrow heads should begin to roll and continue once the trade deadline opens.

Actually this should make Colas the starting RF going forward. Eloy has no real value as a part time player( really a DH) so Sox will have to keep him anyway. Good news he did not take down someone else with him.

A day at the park is really enhanced by having options outside the park. I haven't done a lot of stadiums but Baltimore is excellent, Boston is pretty good but Tampa Bay and Dodger Stadium( long time ago so that may have changed) were weak. Went in and out by train at night so not sure what Philadelphia had. I find it great when an area is relatively clean/safe with a lot of activities so fans can make a day before /after the game.

Good road win for the Sox. Beni had a solid game with the bat.

Like Grifol? He was an All America Catcher.

I do not see Pedro going anywhere. I don't know how much he makes, but the Sox do not make a decision that fast. If JR has kept Hahn through this mess, he should be the 1st to go.

Let's think positive. Sox sweep Atlanta and start their " March" to the Central Crown.
