  1. Matz is making it look easy because it's the White Sox. It is easy.
  2. Second cheapest run of the year. (After wild pitch that hit ump)
  3. Remillard is in LF cuz Matz is a lefty. If Andrus doesn't play under these conditions, just release him, which maybe they do anyway if there's a sell-off.
  4. So, they're basically .500 when he's not pitching? I hope the Sox find a way not to ruin this streak.
  5. Max Clark is also a helluva prospect and if he lets you get a top HS arm with your second pick that may be > Skenes/Crews.
  6. KW would draft a running back in the MLB draft.
  7. Banks did well. I wish I believed they will score.
  8. Banks is in. Pedro is punting the game. Even he doesn’t believe they will score.
  9. Trades are generally meh to me. I am low man on Ortiz. He’s included cuz everyone knows Baltimore would give him up. He’s like 4th in line for both of their middle infield slots behind at least Henderson, Holliday, and Westburg. I am not convinced he’s better than Prieto. Also, Pepiot is hurt. If you can’t get Rushing, I’d look at the Dodgers AA rotation. Try to get a couple of those guys.
  10. Sure, if you consider a 1.000 OPS slowing. He has a Sac Fly tonight.
  11. Grand Slam Baldwin. He has been red hot. I think he really wants to join Burke and Elko.
  12. Billy Hamilton HR. Sosa 1-2 with a 2b.
  13. With the lottery, bottom three records have the same odds for the number 1 pick. Sox don’t have to catch A’s and Royals.
  14. Latest CBS mock has them taking Waldrep which I find hard to believe.
  15. Diekman is not alone: Maybe none of this is on the players and once they leave they'll all live up to their potential.
  16. Nunez 2-5, 2b, sb. it seems like he fills the stat sheet on the daily.
  17. If he can get to it, sure. I think there's a high probability Morales is a righty lf/rf/1b with power over hit so he'll have a .700ish OPS made up mostly of running into some mistakes. We've had over 25 years of that profile and it hasn't won much.
  18. That’s because the Sox have only one core competency: churros.
  19. One reason the Sox have blown so many leads is that they score so few runs. The margin of error is zilch. Basically, any time they give up any runs you give up the lead. It’s why they have to blow the whole thing up, not just fix one aspect.
  20. I am fine with a whole bunch of guys including Bradfield and Dollander. Morales scares me with our hitting development. Also righty corners are not a glaring need.
  21. The only to have this approach in this organization is to enter with it. They sure as hell aren’t going to teach it to him.
  22. I may be Charlie Brown kicking the football here, but Matt Thompson’s last 3 starts have me mildly excited. He may be a rotation piece next year?
  23. From today, I would add Murphy, Nunez, and Cannon.
