Can't really be disappointed when many had the underlying feeling that nothing would happen. That being said it's a humongous slap in the face to fans having your GM come out and tell you a couple of weeks ago that this team is mired in mediocrity, then do absolutely nothing. They just told us as fans they're ok with being mediocre and not competing. That said I'm happy we didn't trade Sale and Quintana for peanuts, but other pieces should've been trade IMO as others.

Really wish we had the coveted pen arm people want like the Yankees do. They'll probably end up with Schwarber in the next couple of weeks or something. While we will end up with a 30ish year old guy that increases our mediocrity to slightly less mediocre.
