  1. Have you been watching or just following the box score?
  2. Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like this
  3. If the stories were true (which I believe they were) can you imagine how much things change if Ms. Wheeler was down for playing in Chicago?
  4. After two days off, it’s pretty jarring how unprepared these guys are. And that’s not just on the coaches, I put that mostly on the players…but they should all be embarrassed
  5. I can put up with a lot of things, but Beastie Boys slander will not be tolerated.
  6. This also isn’t true. If you want to be accurate, the Sox would be in the 2019 season of the Astros rebuild. The Sox have made the playoffs in the first two years of their “run” Just like the Astros did in 2017 and 2018. The only difference is the Sox failed to advance in both of their appearances. Unless major changes take place, the Sox window is this year and the following season. After that, major pieces of the core with become free agents or be well past their primes. And that isn’t uncommon. Most teams have a 4-5 year window to cash in. I hope they do.
  7. Who called it a failure, other than you? Who said the Sox had to spend like the Dodgers, other than you? That’s really what you took from what I said? Come on…
  8. Which means they have to use assets to acquire those pieces, instead of just cash, which they could have done this offseason. Additionally, the Houston Astros have made the ALCS 5 years in a row. That’s not luck. The Sox have lost in two consecutive ALDS and seemingly kept the car in neutral this offseason. Sorry for wanting more. Us Sox fans have really been spoiled, seeing the Sox win 3 playoff series the last 100 years (all in 2005 mind you.)
  9. No. Let him eat this for 4 innings. Don’t wreck the bullpen for upcoming divisional games because this guy is dick.
  10. I would have loved to be in the room when the FO was discussing signing him. Honestly, what were the odds this signing “worked out?” Like, 3%?
  11. He is a bad pitcher. We knew this before, we know this now. This is what a bad pitcher looks like.
  12. Lol, that made me laugh early this AM which is hard to do, so well done
  13. I watched it on a 65 inch TV, so you don't have to. You made that choice, not MLB.
  14. You're really going to die on this stupid hill, aren't you? It's just crazy to see a smart person take such a weird position
  15. People often over-exaggerate, but that honestly was a Little League play he messed up.
  16. My meatball take for the day is if these guys keep winning, I don't mind TLR mixing things up and keeping guys fresh. As others have already mentioned, from an offensive side, this team is in fact pretty deep and they should take advantage of that by keeping guys active and in the lineup, which should help in the dog days of August. Vaughn being a platoon player is dumb as hell but I think he's going to hit well enough that TLR will be forced to make him an everyday guy...but other than that, I don't mind the different lineups every day...to a point.
