  1. It’s becoming an infatuation for you, may want to talk to someone. For someone who hates Fields, you can’t seem to stop talking about him, even when someone doesn’t bring him up
  2. The idea of booing Krause as well when you really break it down is so stupid. He was the GM of the 6 titles and the supporting casts around 23 and 33 were totally different for the 3Peats. Even if he did break up the core too early (which is highly debatable) you’re booing that fact over cheering for the 6 titles? How are those remotely equal, let alone deciding to boo instead of just shutting the f*** up if you didn’t like Krause. It doesn’t make any sense
  3. Value wise, yes. But as we all know, the Bears have never found their guy, ever. And in today’s NFL, more than ever, they need to find him. If they don’t, none of the other moves really matter.

    The 2024 Blizzard

Thank you Caulfield, for posting the weather report for Wuhan in a blizzard thread. We all found it helpful and most importantly, topical to what Kyle had posted. Keep up the great work.
  5. It's never firm when someone backs up a Brinks Truck
  6. Heard the question asked yesterday.....If Flus was fired today, would any other team hire him as their HC? And if not, doesn't that mean you can do better?
  7. I have a much bigger problem at this point with them keeping Fields than I do Flus.
  8. He is friends with Ted Phillips son, so yes.
  9. I somewhat agree with this...if they were 100% in on Flus, I feel like they would have said something by now?
  10. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the 49ers are the class of the NFL right now, and missed BADLY on Trey Lance. Seems almost impossible to not be able to succeed in that system…but even great teams get it wrong
  11. Yeah, I don't see anyway this happens. I actually think Fields the player can have a great amount of value for a team and could really help Atlanta, but because he's going into Year 4 of his rookie deal, his worth takes a fairly large hit
  12. This is correct, because as we all know, this is the cycle the Bears continue to find themselves in, by their own doing. Lame duck coach inherits new QB, it doesn't work, coach is fired, new staff brought in, 2nd year QB is now on his second system in as many years, usually there are some bumps with the first year head coach, so now 2 years are potentially wasted, and now the QB you got to "Reset" the clock is on Year 3 and his development has been stunted. There were talks on the radio yesterday that Flus may have actually gotten a contract extension that we don't know about or wasn't announced publicly. If you keep Flus, which I don't want, you have to give him at least 2 more seasons.
  13. Which is why Kevin Warren is in the building
  14. Might be a total disaster, but the Bears could be the most watched/interesting team in the league next year with Harbaugh/Williams. And if the Bears want to do it, they can..will only cost money.
  15. Of course there is. And I think anyone who says differently has blind hate to Justin or irrational love to Williams. They can win more games with Fields still at QB with a better cast around him. But ideally you'd like to have that franchise QB you know is the one.
  16. So actual time with the ball in his hand yes I can believe it. I guess I just read the tweet a little differently, like it infers that Justin had more to work with than Love did, which I don't think was the case at all.
  17. Two separate issues, but I don’t believe that tweet for a second. Anyone with working eyes can tell you Love had much more of a pocket snd time than Fields yesterday.
  18. Why don’t you hold Fields to those same standards? Because if you did, you’d want to make a change at QB
  19. From what I read, they did 10 minute exit interviews today with the entire roster from like 10am-5pm, Pace and Flus were conducting the meetings. If they were moving on, I’d have to imagine they would have fired him at like 8am this morning. Now, I would certainly hope they are exploring all options and if someone like Harbaugh expressed interest, doesn’t mean they can’t move in a different direction…but I get the sense if Flus did all these interviews, he’s safe
  20. Here is a list of NFL QB's that are better than Justin Fields, in alphabetical order: Josh Allen Jared Goff Jalen Hurts Lamar Jackson Jordan Love Patrick Mahomes Kyler Murray Dak Prescott Brock Purdy Matthew Stafford CJ Stroud Tua Tagovailoa Russell Wilson I didn't include guys like Cousins, Rodgers, Trevor Lawrence, Derek Carr, but could have. Including those names, that's over half the league. It's time to think bigger.
  21. Everyone has a different definition of "elite" but if you're asking if they should expect them to be better than 2023/2024 Justin Fields by the end of their second year in the NFL? Then yes, and that isn't an unrealistic expectation at all.
