5/2-Angels vs Sox 1:10 Central Start, Series Finale

It’s one thing for a dumbass fan to propose absurdity but then you have a dope like Bernstein chiming in with ignorance lol

    That's a White Sox Winner

Len is easily one of the worst announcers in baseball all time. You go from a baseball guy like Ed farmer to a stat nerd who has a terrible voice and here we are. Just another amazing bad decision by the white Sox. When I’m in the car I’ll turn on the white Sox game, hear his voice and realize it’s him so I have to turn the game off. He’s that bad.

It’s actually odd when Ramos doesn’t get a hit now. 2-4 would be an off night for the kid

Yea in his resent interview he seemed happy in the track they have put him on with all the changes. Just needs reps. Seems like a pretty smart guy as well.

4/29- White Sox vs Angels, 6:10

If you add the BA of leury and Harrison it equal less than.200. and it’s almost May. next
  10. Yea I expect hahn and Williams to be gone in a few years. Then put a gm in place that really knows what he’s doing
  11. I never really understand the overall importance of a teams farm ranking. Top 30 rankings for an individual team? Who cares? give me a farm system sprinkled with 3-4 players making a big push each year and I’ll show you a system that’s productive. Couple that with a GM that know what free agents to fill in with and you have a competitive team every year possibly really breaking out.

    Yolbert Promoted to Charlotte

Why would his walk rate decline in AAA? AA is the league where the young stud pitchers are at. AAA is where all the washed up barely hanging on guys are at. he’s put up great numbers everywhere and has a great glove. Sounds like he’s almost ready. this is why top 100 player ready stuff is a joke. He’s not top 100 but the guy has played like a stud. I remembered when Marcus semien was at Birmingham. I don’t remember whether he was top 100 or not. I do remember him being a Southern league MVP which said a lot. My point is that the guys that rate the prospects are usually off.

Ramos will be top 100 this year or maybe top 50 if he keeps going. At this pace. He has Yoan and burger in from of him but ina couple years that could change and he will only be 22 at that point in time. By then Moncoda will be approaching the end of his contract, burger will likely be traded and Ramos would be in line to be the next guy.

Bryan Ramos not only puts up great stats but looks like a ball player. He’s a big kid that can run. If he’s still playing great for the next month or so move him up and bring colas with him.
  15. Don’t sell yourself short. you’re a hell of an amateur

    RIP Joe Horlen

Another white Sox from the 1960s team. Great pitcher as I remember. I think Gary Peter and Pete ward just passed if my memory serves me. Those teams had great pitching and little hitting but were close to being in the WS a number of times

Put Burger at 2B (or Yoan at 2B and Burger at 3B)

Yea Harrison looked bad in ST and bad today. You’re going to have to outscore teams this year versus out pitching teams last year. Put the best bats out there. Burger is one of the best bats

Jake Burger is actually pretty interesting

I really am not into stats as the sole barometer of someone’s success or failure so I will say to you from watching him that he had a mediocre season. Maybe I have a inflated view of what level of play I thought I’d see from him. He needs to hit with more power and be more of a force.

Jake Burger is actually pretty interesting

A couple years ago I told a few people that Yoan was a future MVP. Incredibly gifted will all tools. Since then he was slowed down by COVID and I honestly think he’s a ADD guy. Not wrong with that and if you’re going to have that baseball is a good sport to have it with. but I do question his motivation over the course of a full season. Last year he put up second baseman stats. I am a fan of burger but the Sox will likely screw him up somehow. So it’s likely Monday a stays and third and burger is wasted

Burger almost reaches the concourse with his first home run. Lol

Jake Burger is actually pretty interesting

Burger was an excellent high school hockey play at CBC academy in high school. CBC is a national power in hockey at the high school level. So in case nobody has noticed it he’s a pretty good athlete. Watched him make a play last year where he charged a slow roller, stepped over the bag without tripping over it and gunned the guy out at first. He’s an athlete. As far as hitting I saw him hit a rocket the other day that the pitcher and second baseman were lucky to get out of the way so as the OP he hits the ball hard. the knock on him was that he was injured for two years and got out of shape. Really not a lot of that is his fault. im surprised nobody has traded for him yet. Oakland could put him and 3rd and see what happens. My fear is that hahn will trade burger and sheets to Oakland for one of their pitchers and then have that pitcher leave and burger and sheets both have decent careers.

    We should just get Conforto

The need pitching more than anything.

    RIP Pete Ward

Looking at his pitching stats and hitting stats I’m guessing that in 1964 he should have been in the running for either CY or overall league MVP

Really good Pete ward interview from twenty years ago over on south side Sox.
