  1. Would have been better off keeping him than signing Benintendi, who will probably end up being top 1 contract eaten. At least Leury had personality. Benintendi doesn't even have that.
  2. Remember when everyone hated Leury's guts? He'd be the all star on this god-forsaken baseball team 🤣
  3. Obviously it's all bad, but Eloy and Benintendi is just beyond words. Those two with their contracts and talent need to produce. MLB needs to do something about these guaranteed contracts. MLBPA will never allow it but there is so much money being wasted on these guys who couldn't hit a fucking watermelon. You don't produce? Your pay gets slashed in half. Do your job. I would love to get paid millions to suck at what I do.
  4. New White Sox theme song: "All I do is lose lose lose lose lose"
  5. Every day they lose is every day that we get closer to reckoning, every day that proves the fans and analysts were correct while the buffoons running this joke of an org were abysmally, foolishly and laughably incorrect.
  6. This is the truth. Under Jerry, these are our options. Unfortunately.
  7. I don't care how good of a game plan you have, if you don't have the players that are able to execute it, it doesn't matter. They. Can't. Hit. Baseballs.
  8. I would love to be in the room hearing Jerry and Chris's conversations: Jerry: "So hey Chris. I told them you'd be able to get us wins right away. WHAT THE f***." Chris: "Just hang on. It's all part of the plan." Jerry: "But we might be the worst team in the history of baseball." Chris: "These things take time." Jerry: "You're right. f*** the fans. I'm moving the team to Alaska. We'll rename them The Eskimos." Chris: "I'll drink to that."
  9. At what point do we stop rooting for actual competitive players to be traded away for prospects that may or may not work out, and start actually rooting for winning baseball? Like I understand the rationale behind it, but we already did this once. Under the same ownership. It did not work. I guess people think this is the only hope this team has but, if Jerry didn't let it be successful the first time, why the hell would he let it be successful the second time?
  10. If these guys could even be league average with hitting they probably would be at .500 with how decent the pitching has been, unfortunately they put out the worst offense ever assembled. I don't care how good your defense is, if you can't hit the fucking ball you're not going to score runs, and your product will not be interesting.
  11. Schriffen: "I love the support from these fans." Lmao there's like 50 people there.
  12. And we were promised multiple championships. This new rebuild happening under the same ownership group, what reason is there to believe we won't get similar results? Please show me why I should believe that these players will develop into what their potential says they will develop in to. What have the Sox done to improve in the area of developing young promising players?
  13. And didn't win any postseason series. It was a complete debacle. The only thing good to come out of that rebuild was TA's cornfield walk off, Gio's no-hitter, and Leury Legend's bomb in the post season game. That's it.
  14. Something somebody once said not too long ago...it's die-hard and not never-die. I think we are witnessing the very definition of fans dying hard to the team.
  15. I was reading a MLB article yesterday, they were talking about the AL Central. Went into detail about the other 4 teams, because they are actually somewhat interesting. The last sentence literally said "oh, and the white sox play in this division." And that was it 🤣 At least with Oakland they have the intrigue of playing in Sacramento, even if it is ridiculous, at least it's intriguing and a transition to something better than what they have now. You can actually put a timeline on seeing the light. You can't with this scrapheap of a team...because there is no timeline for change or success. It's just perpetual lukewarm, bland, mediocre, irrelevance, led by a bunch of people who have no idea what they are doing and every time they utter words, it confirms what everyone thinks and believes about their ability to ever put an actual major league team on the field, let alone a winning product.
