  1. That's Hahn's taste in pitchers for you.
  2. Notice how many of our players hit the ball on the first pitch instead of trying to work the count. Such is the quality of both Hahn's scouting and player development.
  3. Jim Boylen was a failed head coach of the University of Utah and was rightfully fired. He was hired by the Chicago Bulls because he came cheap, He has clearly shown that he is a failed coach at all levels and needs to be fired if the Bulls are to progress.
  4. That's the common sense thing to do which is why the Sox won't do it.
  5. It makes perfect sense to sign him. That's why Hahn will not sign him.
  6. There is no legitimate reason not to sign him outside of the fact that Hahn is an amateur in a professional league.
  7. There was one player who was an Ivy Leaguer who was paid $15,000 a year despite the fact that he was not the best player on the team. Meanwhile, the two best players on the team, Eddie Cicotte and Shoeless Jackson got paid only $4,000 each. Other players were also poorly paid. That's the root cause of the discontent over the team's payroll. If the team's payroll looks better compared to that of other teams, then that's because that one Ivy Leaguer got paid such an outlandish salary.
  8. All games matter regardless of what time of the year they take place.
  9. As this game shows, Hahn's pitching decisions are clearly lacking. No wonder this teams Dallas Keuchel so much.
  10. I got great enjoyment out of the Sox in 2005. I'm 54 years old and would like to have that level of enjoyment at least once more before I pass away.
  11. I'm a Sox fan. Why shouldn't I watch and write about it?
  12. Hahn's Heroes are up 3-0 in the 3rd Inning. Question is will Hahn's poor scouting and lack of player development combine to give the Diamondbacks the win or can the Sox eke out a victory?
  13. Its worse than that. Alonso will be a constant reminder that when you sign a player, it has to be done on the basis of what he brings to the team, not who he's related to,
  14. The Sox have not signed any major free agents for quite some time. If the Sox are to avoid losing fan support and become permanent also-rans to the Cubs, it is imperative that the team sign Dalllas Keuchel who is the single best free agent who is yet unsigned. Just look at the man's stats: https://www.mlb.com/player/dallas-keuchel-572971 He was a 20 game winner as recently as 2015 and his lifetime ERA is 3.66. His career W-L record is 76-63. Add in the fact that he is only 31 years old and it's clear that Dallas Keuchel is the single best pitcher that the Sox could pick up. Given the fact that pitching is the team's weakness, its a vital necessity for the White Sox to contact his agent and sign him right up. What do you guys think?
  15. Great Sox pitching here. No wonder Hahn feels that the Sox don't need Dallas Keuchel.
  16. Moncada is having his best game of Spring Training right now.
  17. How can you call it the Big Ten when there are more than 10 teams in it?
  18. It's pretty interesting how back in the day you used to be one of the most stalwart critics of the Reinsdorf regime. NOw, you are one of its biggest apologists. What happened? Is this a sign of just how dire things have become for sportswriters that you feel the need to be goody-goody with Reinsdorf and his cabal in the hopes of getting a job in Sox public relations?
  19. No, it's not a joke and for good reason.
  20. Looks like Hahn's Heroes were able to pull this out. Let's see if they can make some more miracle comebacks.
  21. You are assuming that he becomes a 'solid guy." What if he becomes just another one of Hahn's failures?
  22. You must be a person who is very easily satisfied.
  23. If true, very interesting that the team is throwing big money at a prospect who has yet to prove himself while Dallas Keuchel is still available for any team that wants to win. Apparently, the Sox are not in that category.
