  1. Id agree bc unless you have a history of a shoulder popping out, id imagine it would take a lot more than that to do it
  2. 1 of 2 things. 1. Popped his shoulder out giving the safe signal 2. Pinched a muscle giving the safe signal
  3. If only. The problem is they won't bring him back up bc there is no shot at consistent playing time as long as they are deciding to play turds in RF and have Eloy at DH. That's not even considering where to play Burger bc he gonna be left out as well by this time next week unless the Sox get radical
  4. Bring the brooms to the stadium bc we are going for the sweep. Yeah you heard it right, the Sox have come to play this series and have a real shot a sweeping the lowly Royals back to KC. It looks like a bullpen day for the Royals so the bats better come to mash. In all likelihood Frazier makes his Sox debut in RF and hopefully keeps the power coming. Lynn needs to be his ruthless old self. Take no prisoner and hammer home all versions the ole number 1 up in the zone until they can't see straight. Pitching Matchup: Lineup: Go Sox!!!
  5. This thread has my blessing Just 11 days ago, Giolito manhandled the Royals going 6 innings, giving up just 2 runs and striking out 9. The Royals are really vulnerable up in the zone so he will have to work up there more but will need a little more umph than 91-92. If his fastball is workikg around 93-94 and he can work in even amounts of sliders and changeups he make the Royals call him "daddy" again as the Sox take game number 2 in the series. The bats should come alive against the 0-7 Lyle's and his 7.14 ERA.
  6. Tanner McDougal looked real good tonight. Not overthrowing and more under control. Real fun to watch on the mound
  7. McDougal should be on the mound for Kannapolis. Him and Kopech on the same night should make for an exciting start to a Friday night. 🤞 They both avoid overthrowing and have good games
  8. You know what day it is, Kopech Day! Despite some recent success from KC and their hitters, Kopech should have an excellent start tonight if he can rely on the fastball and command it in the upper part of the strike zone. He really needs to dial it back a little and let the ball naturally move and not try and throw it 110 mph bc that is where his command issues originate. Most importantly if he can avoid the fastball sitting middle-down and avoid anything hanging he should come away with the win tonight as our hitters are facing grandpa Greinke Go Sox let's get a win tonight!
  9. It's who he is. Vs free swinging teams he will walk less and K more. Vs more patient teams he will walk more and K less. In all cases the stuff is/has been unhittable the farther out from his surgeries he gets If he can dial it back a little and add in a split/sinker/cutter than he may have Ace quality with his stuff and his command. Unfortunately where he is now is max a max effort delivery that lends itself to being wild at times and results in walks. A few tweaks and he will become the Ace if the staff bc Cease and Gio are fading fast while he is getting better and better
  10. Click bait is all that article is. They ignore his mlb leading like 6 games of 4+ innings and 1 hit or less (most before the injury). They also ignore that 2 of his last 3 games have been 6 innings 1 hit and 4.2 innings and 1 hit. Kopech is fine and looking better and better each start.
  11. TA will be the first to go as he has been/is a problem
  12. It not just that. Since going down he has hit .429 with 12 doubles and 1 homerun in only 42 ABs. He should never have been sent down as he was in the midst of adjusting to mlb pitchers and will have to have that same adjustment period once he come back up bc AAA pitching ain't near the level of mlb pitching. He needs to be in RF everyday or near everyday at the big league level. But the Sox don't know how to develop prospects well and this shows it for sure. Not only that. Sheets has been bad to worse at the plate since Colas went down. He is not even putting up that respectable of numbers at this point since taking over everyday in RF for Colas. Sheets is good when you can pick his matchups and in smaller bursts, not everyday.
  13. Top pick is gonna be Jac Caglianone so yeah they would. If you tank for anyone its him. But they shouldn't be tanking until there is no way to win the division
  14. McDougal looks to be overthrowing a lot. No hard contract really at all. In a similar fashion to Kopech he needs to trust the fastball and throw strikes while not worrying about the strikeouts or contact.
  15. Kopech needs to let it rip today. Be loose and not try and overthrow things. Trust the fastball and work in a few changeups early with whichever breakingball he has the feel for
  16. Don't forget the best hitter down there, Colas
  17. Sox are fucking morons for bringing up Perez instead of Colas who is hitting .435 with 5 doubles since being sent down. Sheets meanwhile is 5 for his last 30...all singles lmao. Such a damn disgrace. That said its Kopech Day and time for him to flame on!!!
  18. 99.9999%. Its been stated numerous times over the last decade that Hahn only recently got more say so but even now has to have unanimous approval from KW and JR. Meaning he has virtually no GM powers that the other 29 GMs have
  19. We win if we can keep be patient and make Greene throw strike and down. If we chase and chase the high stuff we are doomed
