    Lawrence Holmes pointed out that assuming the Sox are the three seed that means they are playing game three vs the astros in chicago the same day as the Bears are hosting and the Chicago Marathon.

    It may very well take 2.5 hours to get in and around the ball park.

     

    Curious if anyone has any suggestions

    if this team loosens up, they’ll have enough raw talent to make every game very interesting. I think they will… after they clinch.

    This is just a pretty bad week. 

    but also - IMO there aren’t 29 losers and 1 winner every baseball season, and I feel If the Sox take Houston deep into a series and they just beat us, we will be better next year and closer next year.  

     

    the goal of this team is to win a world series, not win 90 games and lose in the first round.

    this team has sucked for 2 months, and this is a forum to discuss the day to day goings on with the Chicago White Sox. Do the math....

     

    If you want to look at this team through rose colored lenses right now go ahead, the rest of the majority knows that chnces are not good that the sox advance at all in the playoffs and that this team peaked in the Iowa game.

    Assuming the Sox limp into the playoffs ala 2000 white sox, where will the blame be put on this team?

     

    A lot of people will point the finger at hahn/TLR in regards to handling the team the last 2 months with holding players back/fake IL stints.

     

    What about the players themselves....Where has Eloy's production gone? The Kimbrel trade, Kopech falling off the face of the earth, et al.

     

    What say you?
