President Donald Trump: The Thread

Since this is the Trump thread, rate his performance so far.

I'd give him a 5 out of 10. Despite all the screaming from never-ever Trumpers who would never give him a chance, he hasn't done anything despicable yet, though the new healthcare plan might be even worse than Obamacare. I could give him a 3.5 or 4 after that comes out.

I'd give Trump a 9-10 as a businessman. I read somewhere he's worth $3.7 billion. That's a lot of loot.

p.s. I'd give Obama a 5-10 as President. As a person I'd give Obama a 9-10. Seems like a great man.

How could you possibly know this to be true? He's the first President in decades to not release his taxes.

0. He's done nothing productive.

CIA spying accusations will surely provide some additional cover to Trump, or, at the very least, muddy the waters even more.

Not coincidentally, all this (leaked documents) is coming from Assange/Wikileaks again...trying to take the focus away from Russia, Sessions, healthcare and the "Obama is bad (or sick) guy" for wiretapping Trump Tower set of storylines?

For a guy who likes to brag and boast so much, you'd think that he'd want to release his taxes to show everyone how insanely rich and successful he is.

It's because he's not. Thats why they are trying their hardest to make money while he is still in office. So far he's probably been the worst president in history in his first few weeks.

He all for everyone, except the little guy who builds his casinos that he doesn't pay. Or the promise of yuge, great jobs in Gary that he was going to give to black people, except they were $25k a year jobs he gave to white people, and he declared bankruptcy before making Gary great again, but said it was a great deal because he took his money and ran. And the people in Scotland on his golf course, where there was going to be yuge amounts of jobs and everyone was going to get rich. That worked out so well, the people signed a petition to try to keep him out of their country.

You have to give him credit for being a genius PR guy, but he has a long trail of not being what he claims to be, and so many people don't even want to look at that.

It is funny his sons are now going to start a less expensive Trump brand hotel in the rural areas where much of his base is. It might do well for a few years until they realize their VCR factory isn't really coming back.

I get why some may want a "business man" in the WH. But not a guy who makes his money screwing over banks and people. If he's really worth the $10 billion he claims, why doesn't he do the right thing and start paying back some of the people he claims won't be forgotten, that he left holding the bag?

Sooooo, you would give him a 7/10? 8/10?

Trump is building hotels in Japan?

No, they are bringing those jobs back to the US. Except for Trump ties, and shirts and such, the steel he uses to build his buildings, and Ivanka's stuff, everything needs to be made in the USA, and Trump will make it happen. Believe me. Except it's OK to use Russian steel on that ridiculous pipeline.

Just throwing this out there... years ago my company turned him down for a $40k loan request because his business credit was so bad. There was also a time when no American bank would lend him $. He was "black-balled" industry wide, forcing him to borrow from foreign banks, some of which are owned by their respective governments. Many of those loans are still outstanding and not paid in full.

An interesting read is about Trump and Deutsche Bank.

Will be interesting to see if Trump's base of mouthbreathers will punish him politically when they realize all those $20 an hour factory jobs he promised them aren't ever coming back...

Or maybe just the fact that Trump wants to keep brown people from entering the US is good enough for them.

Scott Pruitt just said he doesn't believe CO2 contributes to climate change. So, yea, everyone start buying Chinese made face masks because they probably are the best

This is beyond tragic.

For an administration whose main claim is US citizen safety, between their climate and health care positions, that is shown to be false, much like most everything else they claim.

The only hope is there is enough elected officials that put country and humanity over party and realize how dangerous these people have become.
