Guys had some really poor swings yesterday. Especially Avi and Davidson. Let's hope for a little better today. I didn't quite know what a bandbox Rogers Centre is, might be a high scoring game tonight.

There definitely was some bad AB's yesterday. Hope to see a more productive offense today.

I like Ricky R. I don't want him fired, even when we get good. However ... Avi batting second is ridiculous. It makes no sense. I'd prefer Sally or Anderson second even if Anderson doesn't walk ever. Do u all agree this is beyond absurd to have Avi hit second? Move him down where he belongs before he turns back into the old lousy version of Avi.

It actually makes perfect sense. Get him more PAs. Let him hit in front of Jose.

But second is for guys who advance the runner not guys who drive the ball like Avi.

It’s actually optimal to put one of your best hitters in the second spot.

If you have guys that really drive the baseball coming up 3-5, you shouldn’t really need to advance the runner.

Yes, Anderson is a career 7-9 hitter and Saladino is terrible.

Boston has to blow his whistle when Donaldson bats. The Sox also have to think about laying a couple down the 3rd base line.

Christ Happ is nailing the corners.

But they're all out of the zone

Nah, that lower outside corner is pretty on point for him.
