Love that Benetti calls a .200 BA a “misnomer” when talking about a guy who strikes out twice in every five plate appearances. Jason is a damn moron.

I know it's tempting, but let's not feed the troll guys

avi garcia is an earth worms worst enemy.

Avi’s groundball rate has been out of control this year. Doesn’t seem like he’ll ever tap into that raw power. At least we didn’t extend him to big money after his BABIP fueled season last year.

I never thought he'd return to the old Avi.

Here's every Avi at bat:

Pitch 1: Fastball taken for a strike

Pitch 2: Slider out of the zone, swinging strike

(add some amount of foul balls/draws)

Pitch N: Ground out weakly to the left side

Last year he changed and the first few games this year. And now hes back to old avi

Moncada and Abi obviously do not like batting 1 and 2 in the lineup. Seems Hahn/Ricky are trying to hide some of our weaker hitters. Just let Yolmer or Leury lead off even if they are not ideal candidates either. Or Saladino. Let him play for 2 weeks and see if he gets good. Seems dumb to let Moncada and Avi suck when they are good hitters.

Who are you benching to get Saladino at-bats??

90-91 for Gio, so much for the improved velocity. sigh.

So far, looks like he did first two games. Velocity down and can't command fastball at all. Seems like another mechanical issue

Your strawman routine is getting a little old. I think it's time for some new material

Nice at bat, Yoan! Good try buddy. As long as you’re trying your best and having fun, I’m having fun

Just wait until it warms up!!!!!!11

Dude, you can’t be pessimistic about the young guys. This organization has failed to spot actual talent for over a decade, and yeah, their current prospect crush has a terrible strikeout habit, but you gotta have faith. Our front office has earned the right to not be questioned by the likes of you, thanks very much.

Not a reference to his actual performance, but his ST mechanics and control were a lot better. He needs to establish more consistency there
