He was behind on the fastballs in last at bat. Had a good swing on 3-1. Anyone in baseball strikes out on that 3-2 pitch

When we play this bad I think about Jason on a podcast saying how overjoyed every single Sox fan was at Soxfest. It was a party with people cheering Hahn everywhere he walked and worshiping him cause everybody loves the rebuild.

Anderson now has 6 walks and 16 K's. 50 at-bats. (16/56=28.6%)

 

Moncada, 27 k's, 10 walks, 56 at-bats (so technically 27/66=40.9%

Obviously that has to come down to AT LEAST the mid 30's, if not lower 30's.

Any spending they do will be offseason and have nothing to do with attendance. Yes I want them to suffer embarrassment of low crowds if they are going to put this product on the big league field.

 

The problem with that is we don't know where the holes will be once the young guys are all up. That could tie up a bunch of money in signings in what becomes an area of strength that we can't offload, which will cripple the roster flexibility when the window of contention is open. Basically it's a risk the team does not need to take yet. We won't have unlimited payroll so the cautious approach to signings at this point is warranted.

The Sox "Turned Back the Clock" with the 1968 uniforms. They also played like that garbage team did. 95 losses that year, a MLB record 44 by one run.
