Lopez has looked pretty awesome this year and I really think the offense can get to McCullers. Plus the team is going to do everything in it’s power to avoid another sweep. Yeah, high pitch count for the first inning but he doesn't look lost or frustrated. His slider and curve are coming out of his hand really nicely. Unlike Giolito, Lopez has the feel for the release point. And his stuff is major league quality. He may very well be the ace of this staff in 2 years. He just needs to attack the zone.
