"Flu-Like Symptoms."  Whenever I hear this expression, I think back to the late 1970's or early 80's when the Denver Nuggets had a really great basketball player named David Thompson, who unfortunately (and allegedly} ran into a serious drug problem and didn't show up for games from time to time.  The Denver front office kept using the expression flu like symptoms as the reason for his absence.  Back then the media just accepted it and did not have the balls to challenge the reason.

I am not implying anything for Jose, of course.

It's funny because flu symptoms and the symptoms of a common cold are not that much different. So it's possible he just has a cold and has "flu-like" symptoms.

I went to a walk-in clinic one time because I thought I had the flu and felt like death. Turned out I had bronchitis. 😲

Funny post.  Too bad about David, though.  When he came into the pros, he went against Dr. J several times, and he was better.  I was there.  Then the drugs, David went somewhere, Dr. J is in the Hall, and he is revered.  David, not so much.
