You’re on a White Sox message board on a Friday night in the middle of the summer, during one of the worst seasons of the franchise.

I mean, kinda seems like your asking for it.

I guess that’s true if I can get through this year how much worse can it get really?

Don’t be that guy.

I would love to see any numbers on him in clutch, late inning situations. For as great as he's been here for five years, he doesn't have a lot of big late inning hits (only ones I remember are the slam vs Tampa and walk off single vs Yanks)

I want the Sox to be good again BECAUSE I'M SICK AND FUCKING TIRED OF GOING TO ESPN.COM, CLICKING MLB SCOREBOARD EXPAND, SCROLLING RIGHT AND NOT SEEING THE GAME BECAUSE OUT OF 12 OR SO GAMES THEY CAN ONLY SHOW 11 EACH DAY AND THE SOX SUCK ENOUGH TO MAKE ME CLICK AGAIN.

ya'll have a great night.

Hell of a tank loss.

Yeah so we can get the No. 4 pick again (or 3, 2  or 1) when people are saying there's no difference this year between 4 and 14. What a joke the draft is in baseball.

You are the joke sir.  Not even the Sox can screw up a top 3 pick most of the time.  There is, as teams have learned, a huge premium at the very top top.  Sure, you can find a Trout in the 20s -- but the stats say when you do, you got lucky.

Isn't think kind of a perfect tank loss?

It's another one of those games where Hahn gets to be a genius. Instead of feeling embarrassed at that relief choke job, he can smile and wink at the investors and say, 'Just as we planned it.' That top 2 draft pick is coming next year ... yeah!   Sure hope this year's No. 4 and next year's 1 or 2 are not busts. Of course we'll give them 4-6  years to make the majors. Hahn can keep the rebuild mystery going as long as he wants and be beloved by fans, owners, everybody. It's unAmerican to try to lose like this.

What a job to be the GM of a team that has sold management and fans on re-build. You can rationalize poor performance as part of the grand plan. Talk about job security.

Amen Flash! You and I are soul mates on this issue. It's the best job ever.

I'm not a joke. I'm furious at the unfairness of getting to have a job where you are allowed to fail, and receive raises and pats on the back for failing with the so-called rebuild the excuse. I hate to break it to people, but there is a LOT of work to be done to build this roster. And with our fans' desire to not spend cash, good luck building a contender. Yes on paper there are some nice pieces, but already there are some ???s. Rey-Lo looks like a rotation pitcher (that's good), Moncada looks like an all star (that's good), Timmy is OK, but that defense?  Gio frankly has a ton of work to do.  Some want to ship Abreu out for more prospects. Davidson is my idol but may not be the answer at DH. The relievers? Maybe Fry really is good. Nate is OK. The rest of the staff blows.

You know ... as bad as the Sox teams have been, we better be contenders 6-10 straight years to make up for the pain of these crappy teams.

So if 4-14 are all similar, better finish in top 3 for worst record. Oh wait, you say fans should root for every single possible victory, regardless of draft position

Complain to the player's association for putting ever increasing salaries ahead of everything else. Without a salary cap in the league small and mid market teams will always be forced into top to bottom rebuilds. These teams have no margin for error when it comes to big FA signings.

Awful positioning by Narvaez on the relay allowed that runner to score. Why wasn't he in front of home plate so he could apply a quick swipe tag? He was like 3 feet behind home plate.

It was the bad throw from Moncada.
