What are the chances that he could be promoted to Birmingham? I'd rather see him there, than Call. How soon could he be in Chicago, if he succeeds at AA?

Is the end of next year, feasible? He'll be 23 next month. I think that there is a good chance that he gets there before Robert, Basabe or Rutherford, because those guys are all a little younger, than he is. He seems to be the most polished hitter, who can play CF, out to the entire group of prospects. I was hopeful that Booker might stay on track, but he has not done that well, since being promoted to AA.

No.

Eloy is the top rated OF prospect in all of baseball, not just the White Sox.

You think if you include defense, Gonzalez > Jimenez? Delete your account.

No, I think that if you want an all around OF that can play good defense and hit, then Gonzalez is the best in the Sox system. Eloy is so good of a hitter that it covers up a lot of his defensive deficiencies.  Sox are lucky they play in the AL. Maybe I put too much value on being able to play a position, idk. Under zero circumstances do I think Gonzalez is a better prospect than Jimenez. Eloy is pretty bad out there, and that is why the Cubs traded him.

I'm still taking Eloy

Eloy isn't considered under my criteria because he is bad defensively.  Next. I was talking about only the OFs that have a long-term position, i.e are at the very least decent defensively, and not a butcher.

If he was decent defensively and could play a decent RF, I have zero doubt that Theo would have hung up the phone on Hahn when he asked for Eloy.

No.

I don’t even know how to address this. Eloy is the best prospect the Sox have and he plays OF, therefore he’s the best OF prospect in the system.

He's not when the poster in question thinks he's a DH. I think Eloy will spend more time playing 1B/DH for the White Sox than LF or RF. Too many other better defensive options, both internally and externally.
