With Kopech up, Cease shut down, Dunning and Lambert injured, and whatever happened to Hansen, the pitching probables dont have the same cachè they did earlier in the year. The good news? Since white sox are one of few teams with instructionals games we'll probably get a bulk of the scouting notes from those games in late sept. Looks like they want to see him vs better competition and decide re 40 man. No reason to protect him has been thought by many but I doubt you send a non prospect to AFL. I think the ump gives you some rope when it's because you got hit with a pitch, not because you disagreed with a call.
