Would have liked to see his situation become clearer one way or the other (healthy vs. surgery) before heading into spring training. Now, nothing but question marks remain and if he has to have surgery they've blown several months. Dane Dunning is progressing, surgery is not being discussed, and he may pick up some innings in either Fall Instructs or the AFL (or both) That's according to today's Future Sox article probably as a replacemrnt player if it happens.
