I believe he wants to play for the Yankees, and the White Sox MUST make an offer he simply cannot refuse. The only way we land him is if he sees that offer and knows that he just cannot turn it down. The Yankees offer would be a higher AAV. If Yanks offer 8/300, it’s a done deal for Yankees. With that said, always thought Sox should over 10/350 with opt-outs at 4 and 6.
