We’ve seen certain guys get assigned to various clubs, but nothing official on when the rosters will be officially set. When do we expect that to happen? KnightsOnMintSt Posted April 1, 2019 Author Share Posted April 1, 2019 I saw on Instagram yesterday that Gonzalez, Adolfo, Sheets, Roman, Rutherford and Rivera are all currently with Birmingham. They have also tweeted and/or RT'd a bunch of specific players on Twitter. But none are yet 100% official because, as someone else stated correctly, the Sox are notoriously late with releasing them. Any chance you know what happened to Bummer? Kind of surprised he wasn't on the Knights roster that was posted, unless they have him in the Inactive/DL list. Unless they just want to do a short rehab stint there, that’s a garbage ass assignment IMO. Also, Zangari is not listed on Kannapolis’ roster. Did he suffer another injury or something? The reason for both is that if players open the season on the DL, they are just kept on the DL of the last team they were active with. That doesn't mean that is where they will be when they return. And the thing is it's not like the first two are about being out of shape or something. Plus he worked hard and lost a bunch of weight while recovering from TJS, and now he pulls a hammy anyway.
