Bottom 3 of this staff are just horrid.. top 2 haven't been good either but think they turn it around.

To be honest I don't think anyone on this staff, with Giolito's current performance, is an MLB starter. That includes Rodon.

Speaking of Noodle Arms.....WTF was that from Eloy.

and you would probably say Giolito is the most talented player on the roster still :)  Could play this game all night.  Let's just drop it and hope for the best with Lucas.

He's not. That would be Moncada. If Rodon threw 94-96 and had any idea where his fastball was going it would be him. Rodon in his current iteration is a bullpen arm.

Rodon is a starter, just not an ace. He still has a plus pitch. You can’t say anyone else on the staff has an above average pitch.

So you don't think he's even a #5 starter?

At best. The only thing that keeps him there is that both his slider and slurve are both ++. IMO he'd be a lights out bullpen piece. He misses bats but he doesn't throw enough strikes.

Even before he was injured, Rodon struggled to get to the 5th without 85+ pitches.

You’re nuts bro.

Last season's Rodon was a mid rotation guy(#3-4) , with the potential for more. Rodon in 2019 is a bullpen arm.

Rodon's not going to get away with throwing 91.

To be fair, Giolito doesn't throw enough strikes either, but he has more than 2 pitches. Rodon has 2 great breaking balls, but his fastball and changeup are well below average in 2019.

2019 Rodon has a sub 2 FIP.  While that’s a mirage, at worst he’s a back end starter.

If the White Sox keeping putting Giolito out there he will eventually have a few starts where he looks good and like he found it. Hopefully this next time people will remember that it doesn't mean anything and he always goes right back to garage within a few starts. We've seen it happen numerous times so far his White Sox career.
