The Sox have started to piece together some quality players. They also have a collection of some of the worst players in MLB, without question.

And ironically or not, they’ve all gotten off to horrible, horrible starts (those bad players you mentioned).

Tim Anderson is 25 years old and started showing his upside in 2018. I am not sure what you folks are questioning here

if he's a 2 WAR or 4 WAR player, no?

It’s like there is no in between right now. The arrow has either gone way up, or way down on almost everyone.

How is he a low end starting SS anyway? He was league average at 24.

His career best WAR season, last year, ranked him 18th among SS. I don't mean "low-end" as "bad" I mean it as among the lower portion of the guys who are definitely starting SS (of which there are probably 15-20 at any given time).

We have one of the worst free agent signing front offices in baseball.  While they don’t sign big money free agents who bust like Theo, they spread out the money on a bunch of washed up vets that everyone knows will suck.

Yes, you know how they will both pan out in the big leagues.

Well no one outside of the Sox organization thinks Collins can catch and Zavala isn’t much of a prospect.
