Man our pen is gonna be spent after today. Gonna need some solid outings from Nova, Rodon, Santana and Lopez over the weekend against Detroit.

Too bad they wasted Colome yesterday. Maybe come up with mystery injury for Burr or Ruiz and recall Fulmer?

Wouldn't he have been better going for a bunt on the last pitch ?

You really don't bunt when the count is no balls and 2 strikes , if you foul off the bunt attempt it is strike 3. What he needed to do was after the 1st pitch right down the middle realize how badly the pitcher had been throwing and take the 2nd pitch. Have to have a brain in baseball and be aware of the situation and how things have unfolded.

Also weren't the based loaded?

Time to take out Burr...sigh. Royals looking like they are gonna make the Sox pay. The wasted opportunities we have had so far with the bases loaded opportunity and not taking advantage of the KC error is looking like it might come back to bite them.

Even though he got a hit here, I can‘t believe how wrong I was about Billy Hamilton as a prospect. He hits like a good hitting pitcher.

He's Adam Engel with prospect pedigree
