Eloy should be with the White Sox. I don't understand the point of rehab assignments unless a guy was out for a very long time. Who cares if it takes a few games to find his groove. It really would make no difference if he joined the MLB team after coming off the DL instead of having to play a week in AAA.

In his case, he needed it with that type of injury. 3-4 weeks out he needs to find out what it feels like the next day after standing in LF for 9 innings and running bases. If he’s back tomorrow, great, but a few days down there is ok.

I disagree, let him get his swing back, build his confidence up for a few games, then get him back up here.  I don't think there is any reason to rush anything.  In fact, I wish they were just DH-ing him, and hope they would here as well for a bit.

No can do.  Rick's got to keep Yonder's bat in the lineup at all costs.
