It just feels like it’s going to be that much tougher to score runs knowing you have a guaranteed out at the bottom of the lineup.

Even worse when you have four.

Waiting for Hamels to pump one at 91 over the plate and for Tim to hammer it

It was 92 and it was fouled off

Absolutely. I never understood the argument for it. It's so boring

It's worth mentioning however that Greinke is a better hitter than Sanchez and Cordell

Alot better lol

Just wait until Lester gets a 24 inch plate tomorrow and still complains

Tim really needs to learn to take the walks that pitchers give him.

Maybe don't leave one out over the plate to Schwarber this time

Or do exactly that and get lucky

We have one guy on the team that will take a walk when the pitcher is begging him for it and that's Yoan.  It's ridiculous.  Given how long the problem has plagued the team I'm going to say it's more than just bad players it's a fundamental problem in coaching and talent procurement.

An absolute trash inning out of the Cubs hitters. If we b**** about our guys, that was absolutely terrible out of theirs.

On the plus side it's good to see his pitch count low.

On the negative side it doesn't really matter when you are giving up a 6 spot a game.

Yep, that pitch was high and outside and should have been recognizable.

I'd be pretty pissed going 4 pitches against Nova.

McCann too tbh. Completely agree that it’s self-evidently an organization-wide failure, but I would be remiss not to point out that similar organizational philosophies have worked out for teams like the Astros

Schwarber has CM Punk's walk up song... I'm a fan.

If Punk ever returned to WWE and it happened to be in Chicago, the roof would quite honestly blow off of the Allstate Arena. He was must watch TV

Does anyone know what’s up with Farmer? I mostly hear Andy Masur on the broadcasts now.

It’s why we will probably just love how refreshing it will be to watch Andrew Vaughn play in a White Sox uniform.
