bmags Posted June 23, 2019 Share Posted June 23, 2019 Great story thanks. I’m sure he misses Adolfo in that locker room who I believe is fluent in English to help. There was a lot in Astroball on how big of a help Bregman and Beltran were in helping Spanish speaking players get comfortable (bregman speaks Spanish). Getz has done a good job building up these cultural coordinators and I hope we see it payoff as he’s been aggressive moving guys stateside. Yeah I'm sure they do to but there is something to learning the language with people you are comfortable with and have played with for a bit versus with a whole new ball-club, coaches, teachers, etc. Just a thought.
