1 run single. I saw the "in play, runs" and my jaw dropped. But alas.

LOL same. I went "oh come on now." Kind of sad when a single is disappointing

After the decade we've had, bring it on.

Wes Parsons has big league experience too (good year in AAA so far) so that was a nice test for Robert.

If Robert homers here they should honestly just stick him in CF tomorrow in Oakland IDGAF

Seriously, how long do we keep in Charlotte just so the logistics of getting him there aren't wasted? I know I was in the slow roll boat, but I didn't expect him to destroy Birmingham like this, so yeah I was wrong, and I'm honestly just sick of getting to 40% of our lineup and thinking it's a great time to do chores or read a book. Get him up here, have Madrigal and Vaughn soon behind him. Make Baseball Interesting Again!

Vaughn single. Now 3-4, 2B, R

Hopefully Winston-Salem soon, a few weeks of dominance, then Birmingham to finish it off.

Some veteran scouts think Roberts going to be better than Eloy, I read this spring. Sox baseball going to be so fun coming up next few years.

I think if he’s putting up insane numbers on August 1, you bring him up. But if there seems like there is a learning curve, have him be the Opening Day CF in 2020. That’s the way I would handle it at least.

Some serious prospect porn going on in this thread. The future is in good hands. Blow your wad on pitching this offseason Hahn, no excuses!

anytime ur profile starts with "potential gold glove CF 30/30 guy" that will be hard to top anywhere in baseball.  Eloy can hit but obviously he's limited elsewhere.  I like'em both.

Hola. Estoy aqui.

Yes, laughter was the correct reaction. This is supposed to be a joke. No, I don't think it is likely Robert reaches Trout levels. But it isn't impossible. Both he and Moncada have unbounded ceilings.

Don't you think Robert will be capable of hitting 50 home runs? I could be wrong and you may have been sarcastic, but I swear I remember you saying that and unless hitting home runs is the ONLY thing the guy does, hitting 50 in one season will put him beyond Trout.

I think both Robert and Moncada are capable of 40-40 if Ricky would let them fucking run. Moncada stole 40 bases at every fucking level in the minors but he can't run in the Majors? WTF, Ricky?

Robert is actually faster than Moncada, so being the first player to go 50-50 isn't out of the question for him.

If Moncada was born in the States he'd be an OLB in the NFL instead. Both guys are athletic freaks.

Moncada has insane raw power, but his game power is a notch below Robert and Eloy. Robert and Eloy have the capability to hit 50+ HR, Moncada will probably top out in the 35-45 range in his prime.

Ground out back to the pitcher for Robert in his final AB, but judging from my vantage point (watching GameDay updates), it sounded hard hit.

If we're on the Philly's glide path and next year is our quasi-contention year, I hope Ricky isn't here any more.
