Trevor Bauer traded to Reds - Puig to Indians

Recommended Posts

Reyes scares me. I didn't realize how awful the Indians lineup is/was. Even with these two they could still use a replacement for Kipnis.

SS Lindor, CF Mercado, 1B Santana, 3B Ramirez, DH Reyes, RF Puig, 2B Kipnis, LF Luplow, C Perez

You have to give Antonetti credit. He has plenty of constraints but he's creative and seems to put things together.

Reyes is the only one with any real long term value...Allen isn’t that impressive.

The padres trading franmil reyes and logan allen for Trammel is puzzling to say the least.

How? Reyes numbers are super inflated and he is a butcher in the field. Logan Allen isn't anywhere near the prospect of Trammel

We know they wanted a lefty outfield prospect. Also wonder if maybe the Mets want him in a trade for Thor.

He's not an OF though. He's a low OBP, high slugging 1B/DH playing the OF.

I was gonna say I hope Victor Nova turns into a player the Padres regret trading until I saw he's headed to the Indians org.

Ignore my original post. Deal makes way more sense now. I literally thought Cleveland traded BAUER for Puig.

Glad we won't see Cleveland anymore. I hate Puig's antics...easily the player I like the least in the game.

What are inflated about Reyes' numbers?

Never heard anyone say that about someone playing in Petco.

About 1/3 of his posts have nothing to do with the topic the post is in.

Statcast LOVES Reyes’ quality of contact this year.  Really comes down to defense with him, but if the bat is legit he can still be plenty valuable at DH.

Wonderful contribution...and lol at anyone who thinks Reyes doesn’t give up as many runs defensively in RF as he puts on the board offensively.

Plus, even Allard has a brighter future than Logan Allen.
