Recommended Posts

Reds are up, Pirates and Marlins are tied (Marlins surprisingly have been giving Pittsburgh problems) for the tank watchers.

He's hitting .019.  What do they owe this fuckin guy to keep playing him.  I can't figure it out.  It makes no sense.

The tank.

I feel bad for Palka but he has to turn this around quickly

For his own career, sure, but his Sox career is ending with this season.

My Ga Tech boys, Skole and Palka, are the low exit velocity twins

Palka lost his exit velocity when he lost the weight.

Palka is hitting .019. For gosh sakes, release the poor fella. Send him to another organization. .019 is about as low as I've ever seen an official batting average.

James has earned his vacation when the season ends

Collins is probably thinking better him than me.

Been calling him De Aza Jr. for months now.

That was perceptive. He also reminds me of De Aza.

We can add this stat with our DH one.

That's disgusting and proves without a shadow of a doubt Avi woulda been great in RF this year. He's making something like 2.5 mill or 3 mill a year for gosh sakes.

Jimenez about to pass McCann on the OPS charts...

How many times in the last, oh, say decade...has everyone written how easy it is to find "acceptable" hitters at the corner outfield spots, 1B and DH.

The White Sox, other than Jose Abreu, have spent a decade whiffing at this seemingly simplest task of all.

In an era when every hitter's putting up 25-35 homers, that's inexcusable.

Pitching, well...everyone knows how much volatility there is in that area, at least in terms of bullpens.

Yet we choose the one reliever who anyone who followed the Royals from 2014-17 could have told you wasn't the same pitcher.  He was broken, just like Carl Edwards, Jr.
