I wonder how good Abreu could really be if he didn't swing at every piece of shit pitch that was thrown his way.

 

The graphic earlier about how we refuse to walk is a recipe for how to never be a good team also.

Embarrassing loss. Ripoff for the fans. Sickening Fulmer and Santiago performances. Lot of lousy players in the lineup and on mound for Sox tonight. Roster upgrades needed. Current roster not near a .500 team next year. With Robert and Madrigal? Getting closer. This pitching staff is very very horrid.

One of many embarrassing losses this season. Fulmer, Santiago, and Detwiler need to be somewhere else next season.  Players have had break-out years, but you're right. The pitching staff is horrid. Cease is a raw talent. Kopech is coming off an injury. The team still has some  hills to climb.
