FS: Sox should inquire about NPB slugger Tsutsugo

Turning 28 at the end of November, freshly posted NPB product Yoshitomo Tsutsugo will be among the youngest free agents available this offseason.

With 20-30 home run potential from the left side, it would be silly for the White Sox to not at least sit down for a cup of coffee with this kid.

Already a thread on him that Jack Parkman started. I realize this is your Future Sox article about him though so thats why it's pinned. Merge ?

Why you gotta backseat moderate this bro?

If the Sox don't get Castellanos or Benintendi I would definitely  like to see them make an effort to get Tsutsugo.

Frankly, I would mot be that upset if the Sox get some decent pitchers in the off-season and let Leury start  the season in RF. He's not that bad.

Buried the lede here......Tsutsugo article mentions very casually that we have made offers (i guess?) to Castellanos and Ozuna

I'm arguably more curious about Shogo Akiyama

Akiyama is intriguing because he plays plus defense. He could play CF or RF and has upside despite his age. I like the well rounded profile more than the power profile of Tsutsugo.
