Tatis was a prospect but he was ranked like 25th in his international class, nobody saw this coming that his tools took such a step forward. The FO job is to see potential; plus, who they traded them FOR made little sense so there was little to be gained anyway. Too many excuses for this, heretofore, unproductive FO. That is absolutely not punting. They did this year but they got two top 20 players in a 5 round draft. He works with a 93-96 mph fastball and tops out at 98 with little effort in his delivery, and he also has an advanced changeup for a teenager and the confidence to throw it in any count.
