I mean, they could've trotted out Burdi, Heuer, Detwiler, etc. If those guys stink, we eat it. If Anderson stinks, that's on the manager because he ALWAYS stinks and this is an important game. You put this stroke in when the game is out of reach, not when it's 0-0.

You aren’t helping or eating innings if you have absolutely nothing and aren’t getting anybody out. It helps nobody but the other team. But he needs to be contrarian because he things he knows more than he does. It’s fucking embarrassing.

Anderson is someone you save for extra innings, not someone you actually rely on. Ricky punted this game, plain and simple.

Anderson had no business up here. Should have let foster continue

Or put in Detwiler.

Either way.   They were playing with fire as soon as Anderson was inserted into a tie game.    And it blew up in their faces.

Bigger picture, Hahn and Renteria can fall back on the injury excuse, but this was a winnable ballgame.

The Indians were really scuffling offensively, Lindor has been trying to do way too much from the 3 hole and getting out of his game entirely....but you could just see him rounding 1st base and forcing the issue at 2nd, it was like he knew he had to be safe, you could even see the determination/frustration etched on his face.

Superstars lead.   Luckily, Cleveland can't afford to retain the services of superstars, except LeBron in the NBA.

It’s a damn shame when you had the chance to take the first 2 against a division rival. Bieber has been lights out all season and could very well shut us down tomorrow and all of a sudden we drop 2-3 against Cleveland yet again

We took 2 of 3 last time.

Ricky is showing no urgency, it’s just insane. At least it’s nice to see people blasting him today.

You just wonder if guys like Renteria and Cooper spend any restless nights playing over these games in their heads?

At least Ozzie, the first half of his White Sox career, he had that fire/passion/desire...until his personality and ego got in the way of things.  But at least he had the right instincts and intuition to manage the team effectively.

What does Ricky know about trying to win games?  Watch Cooper find a way to blame this on having to use an Opener
