Like Vazquez, Cease can sometimes have disgusting stuff but instead of varying night to night it varies pitch to pitch. Vazquez was the same way. See, Gardenhire can look at the past results and adjust the line-up accordingly. Jacoby Jones is a top MLB OPS guy, too. Madrigal's teammate at OSU, right? Greiner? More issues at the 2B bag getting tags down. Some of Mendick's flaws getting expose. Getting rid of the ball on double plays, for one, and also he's been pretty lousy with most tag plays, costing some what would have been pivotal outs (the one that sticks out the most was Lindor swimming past him and leading the Indians' comeback.)
