Not a White Sox season unless an under talented bench player has a small amount of success and fans then hype said player up to be more than he is.

Wouldn’t shock me if Mendick is playing with Saladino, Delmonico and Palka in a couple of years.

Not hyping him up per se but giving credit when it's due. He's done a good job consistently when many of the big boppers are taking their sweet time getting to the dance and replacing the walking wounded.

If you really think Mendick is as good or better than Madrigal, look at the bright side, you obviously feel 2B is solved, and with a better player than the Sox were hoping manned it for the next 10 years. Some on this board are crazy and putting way too much is extremely small sample sizes. It would be about April 15th, if that,  had the season started on time.

But it isnt April its August and 35 % of the season is gone so Madrigal and Leury now likely to miss over half the season which makes Mendicks sample size slightly bigger in a much shorter season . He's doing well enough that we arent railing about him

If I could say this about Grandal, Encarnacion and Mazara we'd have a better record. Small sample sizes of good performance mean more in a short season just as prolonged slumps mean more. No time to waste this year.
