Someone I’d still be down for but not knowing the price at all is Musgrove.

Who is going to offer compelling big leaguers? The point of trades is to improve, not many have surplus MLB talent.

Thats stuff that cLE are saying to not be embarrassed they are in first and firesaling

Probably, but if there's a headliner they want blocked by someone else that could make sense.

Also I assume Cleveland is looking to trade Clevinger because of the team drama but maybe that's just an excuse.

Or Vaughn and maybe they consider him ready.

Could be. They do need hitting. I think this would be a mistake though. I think Vaughn is Goldschmidt Jr.

He's hurt with triceps inflammation.

Clevinger is a good pitcher but Kopech will win multiple Cy Youngs.   Please don’t get fleeced like this.

Multiple CY's? We should be happy if he pitches 2 consecutive seasons

I'm sorry but you cannot trade Kopech or Vaughn to the Indians. You cannot do that.

Oh you don’t have to worry about that because that’s not going to happen.

Starling Marte is back on the market it seems. I would love him in RF.

That would be nice. Only has a team option left for 2021 though, and he's gonna be 32.

It definitely feels like the Sox put that out there.

Honestly seems like the perfect type of deal as he's cheap this year and hopefully there would be some fans in the stadium for next year to help pay his salary. With that stated, as much as I despise Nomar (I hated the move the moment it was made), I think getting at least one other SP here is the biggest issue. Without one, they're going to burn out their bullpen. Once they get a SP, there are options (maybe not as good as Marte) like Joc Pederson, kicking the tires on Puig, etc.

And let’s STOP ALL THIS VAUGHN TRADE TALK. We are not going to trade a guy who might be as good as hitter as anyone on our team and who will be our starting ist  baseman for the next 10 years. His bottom is  280-30 -90.

  • Thanks 1

If the White Sox weren't willing to talk about him, there wouldn't be whispers around them being interested in the players being whispered about.

Thank you.  This guy is an absolute cornerstone.  He’s more off limits than Madrigal or even Cease in my mind.

In a hypothetical trade for Lynn, wouild you prefer giving up...
a) Kopech, or
b) Dunning and Steiver
