Not tonight boys.

Minnesota is not going away.

These games are where a true ace earns his stripes.  Sale came up short in the few key games he had here.

The last real ace the Sox have had was Lamar Hoyt. That guy was money in big games.

Hard to believe but Robert is an automatic out lately.

The league has made an adjustment to our very talented rookie.  But once he makes his adjustment to their adjustment, watch out!

I don’t think they’ve made much of an adjustment.  He’s just missing pitches he was killing earlier. He’s had plenty of good pitches to demolish lately.

It was some exaggeration there for sure. But Gio is a number 2 or 3 on a consistent top 5 team.

That was belt high but the box is way low

It's the same box as the one from MLB.com. That called strike was high.

honestly just feels like his timing is off. he's missed meatballs lately; just underneath them. it'll come back to him; not really being beat by any particular pitch.

I agree that will happen.  It is just hard to see him miss so many cookies this series.

Apparently this is the part of the night where Soxtalk attracts the irrational and temperamental.

It happens. He's a rookie and adjustments will need to be made. Those pitches look like cookies on TV but to a batter if may be different.

It's really not our night when Marwin Gonzalez almost hits one out.
