May have something to do with the virus that's killed almost 200K people in the US. Just a thought.

He recovered from the virus that killed almost 200k people.  He has taken time off for a few days.  Does he need 4 months off?  How does that work when these guys start working out offseason immediately after the season ends.  So whats the recovery time afterwards.  Is this a new normal for him.

LH Batter Dyson the only one doing something this inning.

Colome not as sharp in multi-inning appearances, let's hope he can buckle down and close it out.

Colome could have his best stuff and you'll still bite your nails.

Who...knows? I think it's pretty obvious that side effects and permanent issues have been wide ranging so far. He may not be the same ever.

Nobody knows what the recovery time is.

If this is Moncada moving forward, the Sox got dicked on that extension, but I'll wait until August 1 next year to draw that conclusion.

Isnt this the 10th game of the year vs the twins?  We were 2-4 coming in to game 1.  We take this game, that puts the season series at 5-5.  Why did Benetti say the sox would take the season series with a win?

COVID doesn’t make you not swing the bat on strikes.

He may have incredible anxiety about his body not being normal, and constantly questioning whether something he feels is a problem or right. He may be struggling to pick up a pitch. He may have guessed wrong. He may be really in his head not knowing how to concentrate. We have no idea, that's why most are giving him the benefit of the doubt, because he's experiencing something we don't know a lot about.

OR you guys could villify every player that has a bad at bat.

Agreed. Just especially bad today. Not sure whats up. Taking multiple straight fastballs down the pipe and being behind on 86 mph fastballs from the smartest hitter on the team is just...I dont know.

Sorry, but Tim is the smartest hitter on this team. The way he moves within the box and within his stance to eliminate pitcher’s pitches? I don’t care if Yoan can take a walk. Gimme Tim’s batting intellect any day.

Was he referring to this 4 game series?  Because a win makes it a 3 games to 1 series win.

Right? So un-Mazara.

Well honestly even from just what I expected of Dyson. It actually is kinda nice to have a position player with WS experience, especially a team that didn't cheat because their manager was probably too dumb to ever figure out how.
