Bummer hasn't pitched in 6 weeks either

Two guys who havent pitched in 6 weeks in a high leverage situation...yeah, lets go with the guy who hasnt pitched in relief for 6 years over the guy who is one of the best relievers in the game.

4d chess move right there

The only hole in that argument is if they win this game, I'm confident the Sox can win 2 of 3 from the Cubs this weekend....and they win the division. So a move isn't totally needed at the deadline.

This was a 10000000% winnable game tonight

You’re counting on Indians to lose a game then

Hahn was the idiot who did nothing at the deadline because he was counting on the great Rodon

Not defending Hahn, but let’s give Rodon more than a 1/3 of inning before writing him off.

Rickey didnt get us from point c to b.  The players did in spite of him.  His bullpen management and lineups have sucked all year.

I have to agree now...I gave him the benefit of the doubt but that was plain STUPID!

I'm Mr. Optimism and will defend a lot of stuff. But the way the bullpen has been handled this series cannot be defended.

Renteria is absolutely testing these guys to see how they look in tough situations. He’s treating these games with a serious lack of urgency to win. He’s almost single-handedly ruined the momentum with this season.

This series alone all his decisions have been abysmal

All will be forgiven when we win a game

No, winning doesn’t cover up hundreds of dumba$$ mistakes. It just doesn’t.

He's good. Rodon isn't.

He's a reliever. Rodon isn't.

He can throw strikes. Rodon can't.

Rodón is a good pitcher who has very limited playing time in 2020. He was bringing some serious heat

On the bright side, it's not a walk off.  Sox are going to lose three games because Ruiz, Gio Gonzalez, and Rodon were put in postitions they shouldn't have been in.

Great point. Limping into the playoffs with a young team spells 1 and out. Momentum is absolutely key.

I’m done w Renteria. Nice guy. He can babysit my kids, hold my wallet and if he saw my wife naked I’d know it was just one of those weird things that happen...

but as a major league manager he is an idiot
