It’s not just one game though. Lopez has been serviceable his last 4 outings. Dunning has been very bad in his last two.

Velocity was the same as usual. His stuff just isn’t anything special and he got away with a lot of hitters chasing out of the zone when he first came up.

Crochet wasn't a wrong choice. And they knew they were getting Bummer back. A bat would have been nice, but at the deadline they had the best team BA in the American league, 2nd in baseball and were destroying everyone.

They were destroying a lot of bad teams though.  It was obvious they needed another lefty bat.
