I'm anxious as could be.  Already tanked a full bag of cool ranch doritos...

Haha, I was eyeing those at the checkout line at Walgreens yesterday....now I've got to go back and get them before game time.

Just dropped the Chicago elimination game parlay. Which of course means the slip reads:

CHICAGO WHITE SOX

MIAMI MARLINS

A couple of weeks ago Dane went 7 IP, 3 H, 1 ER against the Twins. People seem to have short term memories and forgot that the majority of his games he has looked really good. if he is looking good he doesn't need to be removed after 1 time through the line up.

Honestly, that’s not bad. The only one of our starters today that’s really struggled against him is Abreu.

sounds like Eloy won’t be in the lineup again

Would have been nice to have Vaughn on the roster if Eloy was unavailable this entire series.

I have a bad feeling about Olson this game. Dunning seems like the type of pitcher that he would dominate

Maybe Fiers is just a regular season pitcher like Keuchel?

Except Keuchel was actually good in the regular season.

One of the reasons I wanted Foster starting this game. Dunning is far and away the worst guy we have against lefties that is likely to pitch today.

Per ESPN no Cubs today no explanation. Maybe storms coming.

What other explanation is there? I’ve never seen a game, let alone a playoff game, cancelled with that type of forecast. Probably cover for a potential Covid case. Otherwise it makes no sense.

Its pretty gloomy and windy near Sox Park.  Safe to assume its similar at Wrigley.
