MysterySource5000 14 Posted October 1, 2020 (edited) MLB.com said that this is the first win and advance or lose and go home game for the White Sox in the play-offs. (https://www.mlb.com/news/white-sox-vs-a-s-al-wild-card-2020-game-3-faq) Is this true? I know it is true in the last 30 years. Crazy. Inaccurate. Final game in 1959 was very one sided in favor of LA. 4-2 was the score of game 2, IIRC. I was there.

NO!!MARY!!! 3 Posted October 3, 2020 It is true. 1906: beat Cubs 4 games to 2 1917: beat Giants 4 games to 2 1919: lost to Reds 5 games to 3 the rest have been listed. Cue “well, when you’ve been to the playoffs only X amount of times!!!!!!!” And blah blah blah

kitekrazy 164 Posted October 3, 2020 I guess the good part is there's a lot of youth on this team that got exposed to post season baseball. This will be a plus in the future.
