My name is Erik Johnson, Y2Jimmy.

I have posted my website here before and articles I have written; also posted plenty about my background. I have no idea what this means, but you really need to take a step back and relax pal. None of this is that serious.

Erik Johnson?

You're the # 1 piece the Sox traded for James Shields. Lucky for us, you never amounted to much in the MLB. Good trade.

I'd take Bradley for his defense alone.

Bradley isn't signing here for the same reason Springer isn't. They both see themselves as CF and Robert has that position nailed down.

I'm starting to think that Mazara might be returning on a cheaper deal.

I’m sorry to burst your bubble but Mazara isn’t coming back.

If I'm Joc I quickly take the Sox offer if it comes. Great team, great platoon situation, and possible DH opportunities.

I agree...this is not the year for free agents to play hard to get.  Lots of teams sitting this one out.

Isn't David Dahl a better option?  He will be cheaper than Joc plus he has 3 years of control, and like Joc, is coming off a bad year but the bat seemed pretty good prior and he is only 26.

He seems too injury prone. If they were to add him and someone else to split time in LF and DH and fill-in CF or RF on occasion, I wouldn't that that.
