is he going to turn it around do we think?

relief pitching is such a fickle business.

So far he has been getting knocked around - he had a negative WAR last time I looked

He has an electric elite fastball and when his slider is on that's electric too. Plus last year as a rookie he was lights out. I do worry he struggled in a few outings, but I think he will be just fine. What we should be more worried about is Marshall. He has been hit so hard this season and not even close to the pitcher he was last year.

Bullpens are crazily inconsistent from year to year, hell even month to month.  Cody might be back in time but this year Ruiz is looking pretty damn good and I would like to see him get some more high leverage innings early in the year and see what we have.

Yeah... that's also why trading for a relief pitcher is so often a big risk.

From one year to the next you never know.  It's early though.. he could still be a weapon.
