Moncada continues to be hot at the plate. Dude is an all star right now for my money.

Not with the five bigger name 3B piled up in front of him.

Urshela (thankfully not with CLE any longer), Chapman, Jose Ramirez, Donaldson, Bregman, etc,

Certainly not with just three homers at a traditional power spot.

Even without Luis Robert and Engel, White Sox should have enough speed to spare to not be hitting into so many DP’s.

Way too many grounders all season. The warning flags have been there.

You might want to take a look at Chapman and Donaldson's numbers again (and Urshela for that matter) if you think they've been better than Moncada.

Oh.. and the White Sox are in 1st place. Alot of times that does take into account.

"FOR HIS MONEY"

Ramirez is arguably the MVP with Trout out...so you’re asking Moncada to get by on defense and fan knowledge of the Sox, which isn’t all that great.

Plus Moncada would have to best out Abreu, Anderson, Rodon, Lynn, maybe Hendriks, etc.

Why would Moncada have to "best out" Lynn, Rodon and Hendriks?

Sox have 3 runs in their last 37 innings. 2 of those were scored on an infield hit and a blooper.  Thank god the Sox prioritized speed and defense instead of power.

They had plenty of power, but about 70 HRs and 200 RBIs are on the shelf.

Apparently you can't take more than one player on one team to the all star game. Caulfield must know something the rest of the world doesn't.

Yeah...that one seems a little unfair. Eloy is a 40+ guy, Robert should be at 20-25+ and I think we all thought Vaughn would be showing a little more power. Madrigal-Eaton are really the only spots in the lineup where decent to good power wasn’t expected.

Because not everyone is so well versed on advanced stats...and the White Sox rarely get more than a couple spots. Kevin Cash might prefer to add closers over starters to the ASG pen, etc.

Sorry, iPad autocorrect at 2:35 a.m. with work tmrw isn’t being a good enough fan.  Heck, half the posters who are normally around are temporarily giving up on this game already.

The 26-16 record was obviously fool’s  gold  achieved primarily against a crappy central division (minus Cleveland).  This team is not ready to play the big boys. What we Are seeing this weekend is not all Yankee pitching.  I guarantee the next time Montgomery and Taillon pitch other teams will hit them.
